How do I know if Breakup Recovery Coaching is right for me?

Breakup recovery coaching can be beneficial for anyone who has experienced relationship loss and is seeking healing and growth. If you're feeling stuck in pain, struggling to move forward, or if you feel like you’re no longer the person you want to be, it may be right for you. It’s also a great fit if, like me, you believe you deserve happiness, meaningful relationships, and a life thriving with purpose and fulfillment. If you're ready to focus on your healing and personal growth journey, then coaching with me could be your next best step forward.

Will I heal, grow, and transform after the 6 or 12 session package?

Every healing and growth journey is unique, and the outcomes depend on your individual experiences, goals, and dedication to the process. Your progress will be influenced by the effort you put in, the actions you take, and your commitment to yourself. While I can't guarantee specific results based on a set number of sessions, I can promise to provide the guidance, tools, support, and action plan to help you move forward at your own pace. For some, 6-12 sessions may be enough to see significant change, while others may choose to engage longer for deeper transformation.

If I'm experiencing a partnership loss while in a polyamorous or ethical non-monogamous (ENM) relationship, would you be able to support me?

Absolutely! I have experience working with clients in ENM relationships who have experienced partnership loss, and I'm here to support you without judgment. I understand that grieving a loss within a non-traditional relationship structure can be uniquely challenging. You deserve a safe space to process your emotions, and I’m committed to providing that for you, should you be ready to begin your journey toward healing and growth.

What is the structure/frequency of coaching and consulting sessions?

Coaching begins with a 90-minute foundation session, where we’ll take a deeper dive into your unique experience following your breakup, do vision planning, set goals, and start creating a personalized Breakup Recovery plan. After that, coaching sessions are typically 60 minutes. In each session, we'll continue to move closer toward your healing and the life you desire, meeting weekly or biweekly based on your needs and availability.

Consulting sessions are also 60 minutes and can be scheduled as needed. These sessions focus on understanding your challenges and providing a clear path and action plan to address them via expert guidance and strategies.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching emphasizes growth, guidance, and support to help you achieve your full potential. It focuses on visioning and actively creating the life you desire. Therapy, on the other hand, centers on understanding, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions to improve overall functioning. With my background in both therapy and coaching, I can help determine if incorporating therapy alongside coaching would be beneficial, as the two approaches can complement each other effectively.

Can I receive therapy from you?

Although I am a licensed therapist, my current focus is on coaching. If your symptoms or experiences suggest that you could benefit from mental health treatment, I will provide a referral to a trusted therapist. As mentioned, therapy and coaching can complement each other, and I'm happy to guide you in finding the best combination of support for your needs.

Can I use health insurance to cover coaching services?

Unfortunately, health insurance companies typically do not cover the cost of life coaching services. However, some employers offer well-being programs that may reimburse coaching expenses. As a Certified Life Coach and Breakup Recovery Coach, our work together could qualify under these programs. Additionally, coaching services related to workplace well-being—such as workplace coaching, behavioral risk coaching or mental health group coaching—are often covered by employers. I recommend speaking with your HR representative to explore whether the services you're interested in are covered or eligible for reimbursement.
